It’s a rough start but at least people are starting to actually study how and why people form the relationships they do. However, some parts of this were painful to read. There is still dyadic embedded language; they assume CNM is something that only couples decide to do, instead of individual people coming to that conclusion on their own. I also found it really weird that they focused on gay men, overall it was reminiscent of assumptions about bisexuals. It’s a good try, but there is such a long way to go. Final assessment: meh.
